Director of Global Partnerships

Juan Chouza recently joined Leverage as Director of Global Partnerships. In this role, Juan works closely with Miami-based Leverage Latino on key clients including Combate Americas (largest Hispanic MMA sports league), Kick It (largest 3ve youth soccer tournament) and IIFA Awards (International Indian Film Academy’s Bollywood awards).

An industry vet with 15 years of experience, Juan has developed expertise in creating breakthrough brand and media strategies across a wide range of product categories and global brands. Some of his most successful work includes multicultural planning with Hispanic, African-American and Asian media for Unilever, American Family Insurance, Kimberly Clark and Sprint/Boost Mobile. Juan successfully managed and implemented the multi-year sponsorships of two key partners for Sprint - The NFL and Nascar. Juan also has strong product placement skills as has successfully partnered brands with hit shows such as 24, Deal or No Deal, Oprah, Smallville and America’s Next Top Model.

Prior to joining Leverage, Juan was with Mediavest where he managed the Sprint/Boost Mobile account and facilitated partnerships with iHeart and Desiigner Powerhouse music tour, Nicky Jam Privado and viral videos to reach the Hip Hop audience. In 2010, Juan received the award for "MediaPost's Multicultural Campaign of the Year" for Dish Network's Chinese 360 campaign when he managed the media department at Gravity Media.

Juan was born in Galicia, Spain and arrived in the U.S. when he was six years ago.He lives in NYC with his wife and two young sons.
